[ Eddie takes the beer, happier to have something to hold onto than he is to have something to drink. In between sips his fingers worry at the label, slowly peeling it away. Even with the direct path they take to Steve's room, Eddie can't help but be somewhat in awe of the house, how spacious it is, how different it is from his own trailer. It reminds him that they've lived two very different lives.
Still, once they've reached Steve's room he's feeling at least a little more relaxed, slightly less out of place. It's just a house, he reminds himself, and Steve is just a person. A person that he wants to kiss very badly, but a person all the same. Once inside, Eddie can't help but take a slow lap around the room, touching things without asking permission, turning them over in his hands. It's like he's in some sort of museum of what a normal life is supposed to be like. ]
Cool place.
[ Eddie's got some lop sided grin on his face as he says it, finally looking back to Steve. He leaves the mostly empty beer can abandoned on the dresser before crossing back to him. While he feels more settled, less awkward, he still can't quite bring himself to kiss Steve, he's feeling a little emboldened. Eddie raises his hands, lets his fingers splay out over Steve's chest. They trace lines up and outwards, over his shoulder, Eddie subtly shifting closer all the while. ]
Sorry. [ He laughs a little, nervous but enjoying things, hoping Steve is feeling the same. ] You're pretty hot, Harrington.
